VACATION BIBLE SCHOOL PROGRAMS

We have two five-day VBS programs for grades K-6 available, Jesus is the King and Animal Adventure. Each program includes instructions for teachers, a sample schedule, opening skits for each day of the VBS, lesson materials, worksheets, songs, directions for crafts, suggested games, ideas for decorations, and even suggestions for refreshments that fit the theme of the week. Also included is a script for the closing program. Both programs place a strong emphasis on communicating the message of the Gospel to churched and unchurched children alike.

JESUS IS THE KING

This program is centered around a Middle Ages theme, complete with a confused knight in the opening skit and suitable activities and crafts. The five lessons are as follows:

God is King - Matthew 2:1-11

Jesus is King - Luke 19:28-40; Mark 15:1-20

The King's Feast - Matthew 22:1-14

The King's Mercy - Matthew 18:21-35

The King's Eternal Reign - Matthew 25:31-40

ANIMAL ADVENTURE

A Vacation Bible School built around an animal theme involves Arnie Alligator introducing a new animal each day in a talk show format in the opening skit with activities, crafts, and refreshments related to the theme. The five lessons are as follows:

Creation - Genesis 1; Job 38-42

The Fall - Genesis 2:4-3:24

Noah - Genesis 6:5-9:17; II Peter 3:3-13

Passover - Exodus 12:1-13:16

Jesus the Good Shepherd - Luke 15:3-7; John 10:1-18; Psalm 23
